Abstract

Places which are atractiv for tourists, are not endowed with a separate climate. The quality of air in these places depends on the local sources of bioaerosol emissions such as: sewage treatment plants, landfills, and even the surrounding arable fields. Adaptations of microorganisms cause that they can stay in the air and spread over long distances. Some of these microorganisms can be a potential danger to the health of the inhabitants. The amount of microorganisms in the air is not constant and depends on their individual resistance to environmental factors and the season, sun exposure, humidity, salinity and the amount of pollution. The type of microorganisms depends mainly on the type of pollution source, the climate zone and area conditions. We should remember that free from fumes air does not guarantee microbiological cleanness of the air.
