Abstrakt

Biotechnology is a very significant technology for todays economy and is quite often called the base of bioeconomy. It is very common practice to use the colors for description of different branches of modern biotech: red, green and white as well as violet biotechnologies for health, agriculture, industry and legal and social aspects, respectively. There are several critical aspects for future development of bioeconomy in Poland as well as in many other countries, for example: legislation including the intellectual property rights and public perception. It will be of critical value for our country to be not only and exclusively the consumer of the products of innovative industry, but also the participant in the production of biotechnological goods and services.
