Dziedziczenie epigenetyczne
Abstrakt
Summary Epigenetic inheritance means the maintaining activity of specific loci during cell divisions, without any changes in the DNA sequence. This phenomenon plays an important role in several biological processes including cell development and cellular differentiation. Epigenetic inheritance is based on the structure of chromatin, which determines gene activity and may be maintained even during cell division. Epigenetic inheritance may be actively regulated and its stability is important for its biological function. Probably, epigenetic inheritance may be an important factor in the course of evolution.Downloads
